Business Development Manager

Ms. Simmons is a business development specialist, bringing over 15 years of sales and customer support experience to the Adverus team. She is regularly called upon to investigate market viability and develop new or weak territories. She has enjoyed long tenure’s with her previous companies, quite a rare feat in the sales world. Ms. Simmons credits her resourcefulness and tenacity for this accomplishment. The announcement of her promotion at her previous employer declared her “the ultimate team player.”

She began her career in customer support for a large Bay Area technical publishing company. The solution-oriented mindset she developed early on has defined her work ethic. She has subsequently managed sales teams, written and developed marketing materials, conducted corporate presentations and assisted small start-up companies develop sales strategies. Additionally, during her role at an e-Learning company, she closed the first six Fortune 1000 accounts of their history, and assisted in establishing the entire corporate sales division.
